The most popular image of Nice the world over, The Promenade des Anglais, which gracefully follows the majestic curve of the Baie des Anges was originally only a pathway 2 metres wide. Built in 1860 by the English Reverend Lewis Way, it was officially "opened" in 1931.
Driving along the “Moyenne Corniche” with it's unforgettable parnoramic views (Beaulieu, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche). Stop close to Eze, this typical French medieval village with its narrow lanes at the top of the hill overlooking the sea to visit the perfume factory Fragonard and feel the scent of Provence.
